This original composition is from the Texas Goldrush Christmas Album. After issuing a couple of well-received singles, Cliff Seaman converted his garage into a studio in hopes of producing his own records. For this project we wrote some Christmas songs and recorded them in the wee hours after our regular gig at the Sun City Lounge. The results were dubbed onto 8-track tapes and sold from the bandstand. Decades later, I rediscovered and digitized my only copy. Listening to this track today, a third of a century after it was recorded, it sounds like an outtake from a Dr. Demento collection.
